    Tiffany has practiced exclusively in all areas of family law since being called to the Ontario Bar. She has appeared at all levels of court in Ontario, including the Ontario Court of Justice and the Superior Court of Justice and has represented clients in mediations.

     

    Tiffany also has experience in appellate advocacy, including appearing before the Ontario Court of Appeal as second chair, working on applications for leave to appeal from the Supreme Court of Canada, and appearing on behalf of the Appellant before the Supreme Court of Canada in December 2024 as second chair in the international family law matter of Dunmore v. Mehralian, a case that will clarify the test for courts across Canada to apply when determining a child’s habitual residence in a non-Hague Convention abduction matter.

     

    She is also developing an expertise in international child abduction matters with numerous reported decisions. She has co-authored numerous articles and papers about family law issues for various publications. Tiffany has intermediate proficiency in Mandarin, Chinese.
